CASTRO AREA PLANNING + ACTION is a member-based organization addressing particular areas of interest to the community. These areas include:

Housing
Economic Development
Safety
Gay & Lesbian Visibility
Transportation, Traffic & Parking
Neighborhood Institutions
Services and
General Planning

There are currently over 100 members of CAPA. Funding comes from membership dues ($15 per year) and from our on-going series of lectures, forums, and tours about the history of the neighborhood and other topics of interest to residents, merchants, and visitors.

CAPA is a project of the San Francisco Foundation Community Initiative Funds.
